I'm Sigwrench.

Software engineering for work; visual alchemy the rest of the time. I run fleets of AI agents, build niche software, and I'm obsessed with visual storytelling.

The Short Version

Somewhere in the last year the bottleneck moved. Writing software stopped being the hard part: I point agents at the work and it happens. What's scarce now is ideas, system design, and taste, so that's what I actually practice. Engineering pays the bills; deciding what's worth building and how it should feel is the real job.

The method is to try the idea for real instead of debating it. Most of what I make starts small and personal, built in days, kept only if it earns its place. I spend more time directing and reviewing than typing these days, so the craft has shifted to specifying clearly and judging results honestly. Taste is a muscle, and I train it on purpose.

The center of gravity right now is visual: live-coded shaders, a VJ rig built to perform them, taste distilled from a library of everything that's ever stopped my scroll. Visual storytelling is the obsession underneath all of it.

Career Log

EDU

UC Irvine

B.S. in Computer Science, specialization in Systems and Software.

01

UC Irvine iCamp / Student Researcher / Programmer

Machine learning research with a computer-vision emphasis: built recommender systems in MATLAB for the RecSys 2013 Yelp challenge with a team of eight. Placed 56th of 200+ teams.

02

Numecent / Software Test Intern

QA on app-virtualization products: designed and ran cross-platform test cases, and automated the regression suite in VBScript and AutoIt.

03

iHerb / Software Developer

Backend for the Checkout and Payment teams on a system taking a hundred-plus orders a minute: built and maintained the external payment API manager (PayPal, WeChat, Adyen, Yandex, and more), moved authorizations, capture, card tokenization, and payment notifications to asynchronous services for fault tolerance, shipped a payment-monitoring service with outage-detection models built alongside the data science team, and kept the processing servers PCI-compliant with DevOps.

04

Ditto Labs / Founder / CTO

Founder and CTO: full-stack engineering, DevOps, and every other hat a small startup hands you.

05

Cloud Solutions Architect / DevOps Consultant

Client cloud work across AWS and Azure: architecture, migrations, Kubernetes, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and observability with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Grafana. The job was making deploys boring for teams that needed them boring.

NOW

Contractor / AI Ops & FinOps

Helping teams design, deploy, and operate agentic systems and internal tools: orchestration, workflow integration, observability, governance. I help organizations give AI useful access to real systems without letting reliability, cost, or security spiral out of control.

AI & Agentic Systems

Built a multi-agent orchestration system with debate, consensus, and routing patterns, running Claude, Codex, and Gemini in production daily.
